Four things no free planner does.

Tradition-aware planning. A real seating canvas, not a $14.99 add-on. A personal link per guest. The whole app in four languages including Hebrew RTL. Then everything else a wedding needs.

The four pillars

The four pillars

Four things no free planner does

Pillar 1: Tradition-aware planning

Built for your tradition, from day one

Pick your tradition at signup and the whole app reshapes itself. A Jewish wedding starts with ketubah and houppa tasks, the Ketubah template loads with a Hebrew arc and Houppa section, and the date picker warns you on Shabbat, Yom Tov, Chol HaMoed, and Sefirat HaOmer. A Muslim wedding starts with nikah, mahr, and walima. A Hindu wedding gets its own arc. Everyone gets the universal venue and vows tasks. The Knot, Zola, Joy do none of this.

  • Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, secular, or 'other'
  • Starter checklist seeded from your tradition (re-seedable any time)
  • Halachic date warnings for Shabbat, Yom Tov, Chol HaMoed, and the omer
  • Hebrew names for couples and parents, in the two-column invitation layout
  • Ketubah template ships live, more religion-specific templates on the way

Pillar 2: Seating canvas, included

A real floor plan, not a $14.99 add-on

Zola charges $14.99 for a worse seating chart. Allseated is venue-pro pricing. We give you a 2D canvas: drag tables onto the floor plan, rotate, resize, snap to a 10px grid, zoom from 50% to 175%. Round, rectangle, square, sweetheart, banquet, U-shape, head table. Per-seat numbering so you can drop a guest right onto seat 5 of table 3. Capacity rings glow when over-booked. Family-split detector. Four print exports: floor plan, alphabetical guest list, kitchen counts by dietary, place cards.

  • 2D drag-and-drop canvas with rotate, resize, snap, and zoom
  • Every table shape: round, rectangle, square, sweetheart, banquet, U, head
  • Per-seat numbering, capacity meters, dietary tally, family-split alerts
  • Four printable exports: floor plan, A-Z list, kitchen counts, 4-up place cards
  • Each guest gets a 'Find my seat' page after publish, no extra fee

Pillar 3: Personal link per guest

An invitation built for every guest, and every family

Each guest gets their own short branded link (yourwedding.festela.app/i/ab12, the kind that fits in a text). They open it and see only the events their group is invited to. Whole families share one link, not five separate ones, headed by whoever you choose. Custom RSVP questions can be scoped per group (rehearsal-dinner guests get a different question than ceremony-only). After you publish seating, 'Find my seat' appears on the same link. Preview as any specific guest before you send anything.

  • Personal short link per guest and per family
  • Each guest sees only the events their invitation group is invited to
  • Custom RSVP questions scoped per group (song requests, transport, kids menu)
  • 'Find my seat' page appears automatically once seating is published
  • Preview as a guest by group, family, or language, before sending

Pillar 4: Four languages, Hebrew RTL

The whole app in your language. Hebrew flips it right to left.

Joy and Zola translate the guest-facing pages. We translate the entire experience: marketing site, dashboard, public site, RSVP form, and every email. Four languages, EN, FR, ES, HE. Hebrew flips the whole layout right to left. Your guests pick their own on the invitation and the choice sticks for next time. A serif Hebrew font on the public site makes names and blessings look like calligraphy.

  • Four languages: English, French, Spanish, Hebrew
  • Translated everywhere: marketing, dashboard, public site, RSVPs, emails
  • Hebrew RTL flips the entire layout, not just the text direction
  • Each guest's language preference is remembered
  • Calligraphy-grade serif Hebrew font on the public site

Specialty templates

The Ketubah template, live today

Most universal templates ask you to retrofit your wedding into a Western default. The Ketubah template starts from a Jewish wedding's actual flow: a Houppa-centered ceremony layout, an optional Hebrew arc over your names, a Shabbat Hatan card, Hebrew and civil dates side by side, and a tradition picker (Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Mizrahi, mixed). More religion-specific templates ship as we build them, free.

  • Ketubah: Hebrew arc, Houppa, Shabbat Hatan, tradition picker
  • Hebrew names for couples and parents, in the two-column invitation layout
  • More traditions on the roadmap, free as they ship

Accommodations

Hotels and stays you recommend, with per-group visibility so VIPs see the boutique room and everyone else sees the budget option.

Custom labels

Colored tags you invent ('College friends', 'Work', 'Plus one') to filter the guest list however you like.

A native iOS app, plus design on a real screen

The Festela iOS app keeps your dashboard, budget, guest list, RSVP tracking, tasks and timeline in your pocket — with a push the moment a guest RSVPs. Sign in with a magic link or Google. The website studio and seating floor plan open best on a tablet or laptop, so the detail work stays deliberate.
